Insure Our Survival - Manchester

There were hundreds of people, with a good Sheffield contingent from both XR and Five Rivers Rising XR samba fusion band. We met up with old and new friends in the central library café, already a very moving and meaningful experience.

We marched to some major commercial insurers including Tokio Marine, Liberty, Travelers, AXA & Markel. AIG had also undergone a lobby occupation earlier in the day. We drummed, sang, provided them with climate crime scenes at their doors, gave speeches, and then went for a very fantastic vegan pizza. Most insurers were closed, hopefully to consider their position. Excellent day!
